"The day was very well organised and geared to our level of knowledge (we are a group of Bowen Technique practitioners). Caroline asked what particular aspects we would like to concentrate on and this freed her to teach us what we were not confident about.

Fully up-to-date information on current First Aid methods and thinking, she steered us skilfully through really important stuff. Backed up with a laptop to show us real-life screen footage of an ambulance call. This brought home to me what it really might be like rather than the stilted classroom-perfect model one is familiar with!

She was calm, clear and spoke extremely well, giving us realistic answers to our questions, e.g. that nowadays the emphasis is on cardiac massage rather than the mouth-to-mouth resus (once the airway has been freed as far as possible) She demonstrated what hard work it is to keep up cardiac massage for any length of time.
